There are many MerCruiser carburetors. We have photos and OEM numbers on the carburetors listed to help you identify the carburetor you need.
SAE J1223 is NOT the identification number for a specific carburetor. SAE stands for the Society of Automotive Engineers. SAE J1223 is the recommended practice for carburetors and throttle bodies used on permanently installed gasoline marine engines. Most carburetors will have the OEM number in the casting. That OEM number is needed to determine the identification of your carburetor.
